Performance Team Guidelines
Requirements for Performance Team:
You need to be a registered NDA student.
In addition to your Performance Team classes, you need to attend one regular class. You might assist in that class or just review or learn new choreography.
You must contribute to new choreography.
You must perform in a few performances/events per year.
Extra workshops with visiting instructors will be planned and offered to all students. It is highly recommended that you attend and does cost a fee.
If you can’t afford the Performance Team tuition, talk to Niosha as you may qualify to generate credit by doing work study (teaching assistance, performing, costumes, marketing, etc.).
If you are offered to become a teacher at NDA, you have the choice to either accept or decline.
To become an NDA teacher, you need public speaking skills as well as a caring, positive, and passionate attitude.
You must complete Niosha’s “Training the Trainer” course.
If you accept the teaching role, you need to sign an agreement and follow all the guidelines. You must still attend one regular class in addition to the one you are teaching.
You will get paid for teaching.
All supplies need to be paid for unless specified as a gift or bonus.
